About Mr. Avila

     I graduated from Tornillo High.  I hold a Bachelor's of Science in Biology from Sul Ross State University. I am certified to teach Science 8-12, and Physical Ed K-12.  I have four years teaching experience, in Kermit and Presidio High Schools.  I am married to Melissa Avila, who also teaches at KHS. I have two children, Timothy James and Abel Jimmy.  In my spare time I enjoy playing basketball.  I have always wanted to give something back to society and what better way than to teach students to become sucessful in education and life?
