TESTING INFORMATION High School aged home schooled students wishing to test at Kermit ISD should contact KHS Counselor, Donna Bryan, at 432-586-1050, ext. 514, for more information. Ms. Bryan can also provide additional testing information for KISD students. |
KERMIT ISD OUT-OF-SCHOOL EXAMINEES EXIT LEVEL RE-TEST TAKS/TAAS
The TAAS tests are no longer being administered. Examinees eligible for TAAS will take the TAKS exit level English/Language Arts and/or Mathematics test(s). The next administration of the TAKS retest will be October 20, 2009, for English/Language Arts and October 21, 2009, for Mathematics. TAKS scores will be matched to the appropriate TAAS passing standard.
The Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) and the Texas Assessment of Academic Skills (TAAS) test will be administered to twelfth grade and Out-of-School students who have not passed one or more portions of the test. If you are planning to retake the Exit Level TAKS/TAAS test, you will need to report to the high school office at 7:45 a.m. on the day of testing. You must bring a picture I.D. in order to take the test. If you have any questions, please call Donna Bryan, high school counselor, at 586-1050 Ext. 514.
